An arts and heritage project led by young people in Swindon.
Sharing Swindon’s Story is an arts and heritage project led by 35 local young people which ran from 2018 to 2019, which explored and shares the community and cultural heritage linked to Swindon’s Mechanics’ Institution and ‘New Swindon’.
The project was coordinated by the Mechanics’ Institution Trust and was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (with thanks to National Lottery players) and the Police & Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire & Swindon.
